Terms of Service

By accessing or using the BokaScout mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Merchant of Record & Reseller Clause

Our order process, billing, and payment transactions are managed by our third-party online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (and its affiliates). Paddle is the merchant of record for all our digital purchases and handles billing-related inquiries, currency conversions, regional tax collection, compliance, and refund processing.

2. Use of Content

All audio narratives, historical commentary, texts, images, maps, and geolocation data provided in the app are the intellectual property of Manjiti Kučić d.o.o. and are protected by international copyright laws.

• Content is provided strictly for personal, non-commercial use.
• You may not record, copy, redistribute, commercially exploit, or upload any part of the audio guide files, script, or telemetry data.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authenticated account (Google/Supabase Auth). You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must not share your account or purchased tour access with unauthorized third parties. Each purchased tour is licensed strictly for individual, personal use on a single primary mobile device at any given time.

4. Payments and Deliveries

Tours are unlocked on a per-tour basis. Access is granted instantly to the authenticated account used during purchase upon successful confirmation of payment by Paddle.com. You are solely responsible for ensuring your device has internet access during the initial download/unlock of the tour, after which tours can be played offline.

5. Safety Warning & Disclaimer

SAFETY WARNING: Do not use the application in any way that distracts you from safely navigating your vessel or walking. Always prioritize situational awareness, local maritime rules, port authority directives, and traffic regulations.

The audio guide is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in historical, navigation, or geographical data. Use of the service is entirely at your own risk.

6. Abuse Prevention & Termination

We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns to detect and prevent account sharing or other forms of abuse. This includes collecting telemetry (such as device type, timestamps, and approximate location) during tour playback. We reserve the right to automatically flag, suspend, or terminate your account access without refund if we detect violations of these terms, including concurrent usage from multiple geographic locations or different devices.
